Judgements

  • Six former Metropolitan Police officers have been given suspended prison sentences for messages on a private WhatsApp group.[1]
  • There's no evidence that any of these defendants are supporters of Hamas, in a case where the defendants were at a pro Palestinian rally in London shortly after the 7th October massacre displaying paraglider images and were convicted of terrorism offences.[2]
  • Perry Lathwood, who "manhandled" and wrongly arrested a woman for bus fare evasion in front of her young son, has been found guilty of assault at Westminster Magistrates Court.[3]
  • Fined a Metropolitan Police officer £1500 for arresting a women for failing to show a valid bus ticket when asked.[4]
